Laurel loves the multifaceted impact of bodywork and has worked frequently with activity enthusiasts, athletes, people recovering from injury and those navigating transitions.
She completed a 1000-hour Massage Therapy program in 1995 at Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in Tucson, AZ. Her bodywork approach creatively integrates an array of modalities selected based on the needs of the client as technical assessment and practiced intuition indicate. These techniques might include: Neuro Muscular Therapies (NMT), Holistic Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Breath & Subtle Energy Work, as well as others.
